We ventured out on Thursday to take A to see her first movie in theaters. It was a lot of fun.
A was so excited during the credits and the first part of the movie. Especially the Despicable Me 2 trailer, which I'm really excited about, too! The huge screen was really exciting for her. Unfortunately, it didn't last long. I don't think she liked how dark and loud it was. She lasted about an hour before he had to just leave altogether, but I think she enjoyed getting to go and I thought it was a fun little outing regardless. Afterward we headed over to a friend's house to visit for a while. It was nice to sit and talk with her while the guys talked about whatever guys talk about and the kids played. Heather is due soon with a little girl. It will be fun for A when she gets older and they can play together since they'll be a little closer in age. She had fun playing with Heather's son, too, though!
Yesterday Fiance and I decided to check out the book sale at the library since things are priced so low. We didn't find anything for us but ended up getting 18 books for A. All with hard covers and in good condition for $5.50. A GREAT deal. As much as A loves reading, we will DEFINITELY be going to get her some more in the months to come.
